Nike Air Vapor Untouchable TR "Desert Journey"

As one of three releases within Nike's "Desert Journey" collection, the Nike Air Vapor Untouchable TR takes on the designs of Dwayne Manuel, a member of the O’odham tribe who has been enlisted to contribute to the aesthetics of pack. Taking inspiration from two of the O'odham tibe's traditional symbols -- the war shield and whirlwind -- Manuel places his own interpretations of the two throughout the three silhouettes, which also includes the Air Trainer Huarache PRM "Super Bowl" and Air Trainer III PRM QS "Super Bowl." For the Nike Air Vapor Untouchable, a model inspired by the elite Nike football cleat, Manuel's designs are most prevalent on the upper's synthetic leather portions with a UV overlay that change color in natural sunlight. The rest of the upper comes clad in metallic silver and sits atop a silver midsole with black outsole. The Nike Air Vapor Untouchable TR "Desert Journey" retails for $150 USD at Nike's online store.
